Location: Fort Myers, FL

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Travel RN- PCU in Fort Myers, Florida!

Registered Nurse - Progressive Care (Neuro PCU)

Facility: Gulf Coast Medical Center, Fort Myers, FL

Job Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks)

Schedule Type: Deferred Schedule

Shift: 12-hour Nights

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Start Date: June 6, 2025

End Date: September 6, 2025

Compensation & Benefits

Pricing Negotiations: Permitted

Overtime Pay

Daily OT after 24 hours (based on differential)
Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on differential)

On-Call: Not required

Responsibilities

Provide progressive care nursing in a 52-bed Neuro PCU unit
Maintain patient ratios of 1:4-5
Float between stepdown and PCU sides of the Neuro Floor
Read and interpret EKG rhythms
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Neuro experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Degree accreditation must be on profile OR 5 years of experience required
Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required

Additional Details

Floating Required: Travelers are first to float, possibly to sister campuses
Radius Rule: Must be 50+ miles from GCMC permanent address
All RTO or schedule requests must be submitted upfront
Demographic information (address, email, DOB, SSN, RN license number) must be provided at submission
Culture is highly valued: Travelers are expected to function as core staff
Hard document deadline: Monday prior to start (no exceptions for pending docs)
